I wonder...

I’ve been listening to this book titled - Same Souls, Many Bodies by Brian L. Weiss.

The basis of the book is about how we have one soul that reincarnates into many bodies over and over again on this earthly plane. The premise is that our souls will continue to come back to this earthly plane to learn lessons about love and compassion. So in each lifetime, we have the same lesson as we did in the previous lifetime. And that we travel in soul packs, so in one lifetime, my mother could have been my daughter, my husband, or even my father. Our souls can be many things at different times. But the important thing is to recognize the life lesson we are too learn.

I think my life lesson is to not stress about money and materialism. I have a lot of things. And I’m so tired of being a consumer. Like do I really need all of these things. I’ve been taking stock in things that don’t cost anything and it doesn’t mean I will have a tangle item. Being happy that I’m in this moment, writing this blog post. That means a lot.

My grandfather passed away six years ago today. I wonder what his soul is doing. Did he learn the lesson(s) he needed to progress to the next evolution of his soul… I hope he did….that would be so nice. If not, I wonder how our paths will cross again….and if they do, let’s hope he’s on the path to compassion and love.

2019 🍒 90 Day Summer 🌝Challenge

This will be the third time of me doing my 90 day summer challenge. 👏🏽👏🏽 I did it in 2017 and last year, 2018.  Each summer, on June 1st, I pick out some goals to work on for the next 90 days. Basically to August 31st/September 1.  

This year I’m going to focus on finishing the first draft of one of my WIPs. 🤔  I’m thinking Jinxed. 🖋

The second thing is lessening how much sugar I eat. 🤯 Through a lot of prayer and meditation I really hope to make progress on this goal. It seems like everything we consume has sugar in it. I haven’t decided if I’m going to give up my fruit in the morning. 🤭🤦🏽‍♀️

The third thing is making sure I vlog on my IGTV channel. 📹 I’m over YouTube. 😒 😂 I have two IGTV channels. One is specifically for highlighting my writing efforts. I’ve been looking at editing apps for vertical video.  I need to get that and I hope to post my second video sometime over the next few days. I haven’t posted video to my main IG channel. Not sure if I want to. But I’m definitely going to post on my writing channel. 💙

These are three goals for the summer of 2019. Next up date will be in two to four weeks. For some reason this year I’m being very lose with how I’m doing this. I’m feeling free with it. 💃🏽

February 1st: I Shall Return to Writing

I've been taking a break from writing since I published Twisted at the end of October.  I've been focusing on my YouTube channel and my Introverted with Michelle Carey podcast.  But I have unfinished books to write and get published.  Most importantly Jinxed and The Crofton Triangle. 

So, as of February 1st, I will get back on my writing schedule.  The break was good.  I'm sure it helped me to think of new plot twists.  I've gotten some good feedback and reviews on all my works these last few months.  Please, please, please, I ask of you, if you decide to review my books, please write a review on both Amazon and Goodreads!  I appreciate it!.

Day 1

Today was the first day back in the gym and it snowed. It was hella cold outside. But I promised myself I'd do it. I have been doing some workouts at home but not consistently.   

I do need to lose about 25 pounds but this is more about getting the body moving, the blood circulating and keeping myslef in good health. 

I did about 20 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes doing hip and inner thigh exercises. I'm starting off slow. I don't wanna jump out there and get tired and not want go anymore.  

Proud of me. Small steps lead to large gains...it will get better.
